Vidya for Parents app for iPhone and iPad

A collective effort from the school, social expert and parent for effective communication and engagement between parents, school, and kids.

This app disseminates updates and statuses about the notices, events, holidays, homework, result, curriculum, etc. Parents are also able to suggest schools about the things they see important. In-built messenger features help parents to directly communicate with the school staff.

The major feature of the app are:
- Parents can add his/her child; which will be verified by the school.
- Parents can post suggestions and celebrations with pictures and attachments.
- Users can comment on the post.
- Parents can view the assignment status of his/her children.
- Parents can view the test results of his/her children.
- Parents can choose an audience who can see his/her posts.
- Parents and school staff can communicate directly with the messenger.
- Users can create a messenger group and send a message.
- Parents will be notified with in-app notification about any relevant updates.
- Parents can view, edit and update his/her profile.
- Parents can view, edit and update his/her kids profiles.
- Only the relevant posts will be visible to the specific parent and many more.
- Users can report other users and posts for inappropriate behavior.


Note: Users can flag posts as spam if they find a post inappropriate or misleading. Users can report other users for the same. In addition, in case of any other problems, users can directly contact app support via messenger. This will directly notify the maintainers of the app.
